6:49 pm - jotted lines on folded paper...
And so into the black flames of despair did his soul flee, enveloped by the icy bonds of misery, trapped in the throes of a dying vision, remorseful, for unto himself were the crimes of loathing to blame, no fault to be rested on the withered remainders of accomplices long since removed from his ill-begotten world of sick fantasia and repressed memories. Suicidal, he was not, for what freedom does death bring but the release of the need for imminnent salvation, when death is the true meaning of life, and all we accomplish finds its resting place in the remains of our uneternal bodies scattered amongst the soil that parallels our fate in slower rotation.

You Are 24 Years Old

24

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

10:00 pm - Musing
Even though I frequent this place quite often, I never leave my mark. The reasons often alternate from laziness to purely never having anything to write about. The latter is often the case as of the past year or so, during my semi-seclusion from everyday interaction with the assembled chaos that has become American culture. Rare are the times over the past few months in which I haven't had ample time to sit and philosophize, to really ponder my own depths and intricacies. Most of my queries are of the sort to how a person bridges the abyss that is ones imagined, or forced, thoughts and emotions and delves deeper into their own mind to find the true, unbiased (as of the exterior world), core of their personal being. Unfortunately, I more often than not find that the link between imposed views and personal opinion is often unbreakable, or maybe it would be unfathomable to break it in the mind of its possessor. Again, I failed to accomplish what I had planned to do, I sidetracked on a safer road.

Even chaos has order; even anarchy has rules.

No idea, just wanted to write that somewhere.

Just finished watching Troy, at 4AM. Overall, I'd rank it up there with PotC, and LotR among some of my favorite movies. Does this have anything to do with Orlando Bloom just happening to be in all three? Definitely not. Actually, I'd say his performances are quite poor. Maybe its because each of his characters are of the type that I find annoying, Legolas being the least so, and Paris being the most. Cowardly and cringing, with a childish outlook on life. Eh...oh well. Maybe it's just that in each movie he's overshadowed by a much more handsome and "manly" persona in each film. From the rugged yet peaceful Aragorn, to the quirky insane Cpt. Jack Sparrow, to the fierce blood thirsty Achilles. Interesting.

I think I'm going to continue with Alexander, sticking with my "historical documentaries" theme for today.

Life is a dream from which we all must wake. Eventually. Sometimes the dream just seems to drag on and on. Someone lay my yellow brick road, cause the one I'm on now is just going in circles. I wish I could be excited that it's supposed to be spring break, but I'm not. I seriously need something to do.

Sometimes I feel...well, I know I live in a world created by my own imagination. Almost like a reality within reality itself. I think I created it when I was younger in order to have a place to put all the emotional stresses, ideals, and sociological views I had at a time when I felt ready to give in and explode. Sometimes, I almost feel like I live so much in my alternate reality that I've become cold to everyone else's world. I'm still open minded to other's views and philosophies, but any direct inferences to me made by others is less than a passing raindrop on the sphere of my mental facade. I don't just mean those of the negative sort either. All emotional output thrown in my direction, I try to deflect as if I wasn't real. Sometimes, I almost feel as if I weren't. It's sort of an odd mix of depression and diluted existentialism. Sometimes...it's just weird watching everyone else go about their lives seemingly thinking that this nonstop world we live in has to dictate their every move and whim, and yet that same world sucks them dry of personality and individualism before they even realize what has happened to them. Everyone migrates to join their genre's and clique's despite their avid denials of doing any such thing. Maybe I have done the same thing by becoming this social vagrant and bum of sorts. Maybe it IS inescapable and that life is just shaped in the way that such is destiny. There's so much to ponder and mull over that often times I think that even beginning to is a waste of time.

I think I rather like the thought of being just a head. It eliminates a whole hell of a lot of problems. Plus, my head is very nice set against the black background. Of course, I'd have to carry a sufficient amount of night anywhere I went to get the same effect, thereby bringing up the problems of just being a head with no way to carry anything. I suppose its best to keep the rest of me for now.

Listening to My Chemical Romance...a new favorite on my list. Other than that, waiting on Jett's package. Counting the minutes, just because I have nothing better to do.

You Know You're From Texas When...

You see more Texan flags than American flags.

You know someone who ate the 72 oz steak and got it for free.

You attend a formal event in your best clothes, your finest jewelry, and your Cowboy Boots.

You can write a check at Dairy Queen for 2 Hungr-Busters and fries.

You prefer Whataburger to McDonalds.

You dress up to go shopping at the mall.

You've hung ornaments and tinsel on a tumbleweed and used it as a Christmas tree.

You're disappointed when a food doesn't come in spicy flavor.

You know from experience that rattlesnake meat tastes like chicken.

You can tell a rock from an armadillo at 300 yards.

You know what a 'Cowboy Cadillac' is.

You have both a dog and a brother-in-law named Bud

Your local grocery store sells cactus in the Fresh Produce department

You watch the movie Urban Cowboy and laugh at the phony Texan accents

You choose a brand of Mexican salsa with the same care that another might use to select a bottle of fine wine

You think that the 4 basic food groups are nachos, bar-b-que, fajitas, and Copenhagen.

You refer to the Dallas Cowboys as "God's favorite football team"

You know whether another Texan is from South, West, East, North, or Central Texas as soon as they open their mouth.

You don't consider people from Austin to be real Texans.

Your Pastor wears boots.

There is no such thing as a "secret" sin.

The Blue Book value on your truck goes up and down depending on how much gas it has in it.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Texas.

I actually had a Pastor wear boots when I was little. How sad is that.

past few weeks have been sorta odd. seen a few people from the '03 class that i havent seen in some time. Nick, Donny, Brandon Jones...etc. I need a friggin job. It would probably help to go apply, but ehhhhh, not THAT desperate yet. Probably need to go down to Austin to do a little refresher course before I go apply anywhere though. I can't remember just about anything from those 2 weeks. Oh well, off to pick up the runt of our litter.
